Day 1 - Welcome to Japan- Arrival in Tokyo
Welcome to Japan! Our staff will be waiting for you at Haneda/Narita Airport. We will provide you with everything you need for this trip and escort you to the taxi/bus stand or train station. <Optional Airport Transfer> Add a private taxi transfer from the airport to your hotel on arrival day. Day 2 - Mt. Fuji Views & Japanese Tea Experience
Breakfast at the Hotel After breakfast, check out and send your large luggage to Kyoto. You can explore Shizuoka and Ise-Shima without large suitcases. In the morning, travel from Tokyo to Shin-Fuji by Shinkansen, then take the chartered taxi for sightseeing. The Fuji area is a popular tourist spot where you can enjoy the views of Mount Fuji. It is a World Heritage site that represents Japan, and you can also experience its natural beauty and food culture. An English-speaking guide can help you learn about Japanese culture. <Fuji Taxi Tour Highlights> - Kobayashi-en: Try matcha tea at a traditional tea house. You can learn about the history and etiquette of tea, which are important to Japan's samurai culture. - Izumi no Sato: Have lunch at a local Japanese restaurant that serves handmade soba noodles made with fresh, local ingredients. - Shiraito Falls: See beautiful waterfalls flowing side by side. Day 3 - Gourmet Restaurant Train to Ise-Shima
Breakfast at the Hotel Hotel Check-out In the morning, take a taxi to Shizuoka Station, then transfer to Nagoya by Shinkansen. From there, take the Kintetsu's new Sightseeing Limited Express "Les Saveurs Shima," to Toba. This train is a restaurant train that serves French food with a Japanese twist in a stylish setting. You will enjoy meals made with fresh ingredients from the Ise-Shima region while admiring the views from the train. Toba is a port town in Mie Prefecture. It is known for its beautiful sea and island views and for its ama diving culture. Let's explore Toba. <Recommended Sightseeing Spots> - Mikimoto Pearl Island: This is where the first successful pearl cultivation happened. Here, you can learn about the history of pearl farming. Day 4 - Ise Grand Shrine & Scenic Train to Kyoto
Breakfast at the Hotel Hotel Check-out In the morning, travel from Kashikojima to Ujiyamada by limited express train, then transfer to Naiku by local bus. Ise and Ujiyamada are towns that focus on pilgrimage to the Ise Grand Shrine, Japan's most important shrine. <Recommended Sightseeing Spots> - Naiku (Inner Shrine): This is the main part of Ise Grand Shrine, where Amaterasu Omikami is honored. You will see beautiful sights like Uji Bridge and the Isuzu River. - Okage Yokocho: This street has buildings from the Edo and Meiji periods. You can try local dishes like Ise udon and Akafuku mochi. In the morning, travel from Kyoto to Tsuruga by limited express train, then transfer to Kanazawa by Shinkansen. Kanazawa is a city that keeps the charm of an Edo-period castle town while also featuring modern art and architecture. If you have time, enjoy sightseeing in Kanazawa. <Recommended Sightseeing Spots> - Omi-cho Market: Experience local food culture and fresh seafood at this market. - Higashi Chaya District: The streets in the evening have a magical atmosphere, perfect for a stroll.
