Check out of your hotel and send your large luggage to Fukuoka. This lets you explore Hiroshima at your own pace. In the morning,Travel to Himeji by Shinkansen 🚅Tokyo Station→Himeji Station <Recommended Sightseeing Spots in Himeji> *Entrance fees not included ★Himeji Castle → Admire the beauty of the "World Heritage site Himeji Castle" and be sure not to miss the spectacular nighttime illumination. In the morning, use your IC card to take the streetcar from the hotel to Miyajimaguchi. Then board the ferry to Miyajima. Miyajima is a beautiful island in Hiroshima Bay, known as the “Island of the Gods.” <Recommended Sightseeing Spots> ★ Itsukushima Shrine → A UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its vermilion shrine buildings and large torii gate standing in the sea. ★ Great Torii Gate → The symbol of Miyajima. It appears to float on the water at high tide and can be approached on foot at low tide. ★ Omotesando Shopping Street → Enjoy local foods such as momiji manju (maple leaf-shaped sweets) and fresh oysters. After sightseeing, take the ferry back to Hiroshima City and continue your journey by train to the next destination.
